Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has been named as one of 41 football figures alleged to be involved in a match-fixing scandal in Spain.
The 25-year-old is believed to be among a number of players, coaches and directors who have been accused of fixing Levante's defeat to Zaragoza at the end of the 2010-11 season.
According to BBC Sport, court documents filed by prosecutor Alejandro Luzon in Valencia on Monday said that Herrera is allegedly one of 10 people who withdrew tens of thousands of euros paid by Zaragoza to use as bribes to get Levante to throw the match.
The midfielder joined Athletic Bilbao from Zaragoza back in August 2011 before moving on to Old Trafford in June this year.
The game in question finished in a 2-1 victory for Zaragoza, who needed to beat Levante in order to prevent relegation.
Swansea City winger Jefferson Montero, who was part of the Levante team on matchday, is also alleged to be involved.
