Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata believes that David de Gea's impressive display against Everton was all down to his new haircut.
The Spaniard saved a penalty from Leighton Baines and then made three further saves to deny the Merseyside outfit a point as United secured a 2-1 victory at Old Trafford on Sunday.
In Mata's weekly blog, the Spain international paid tribute to De Gea, who had an inconsistent start to life at United following his arrival from Atletico Madrid back in 2011.
"David did several extraordinary saves to keep the three points at home," wrote Mata. "What a superb performance! It seems his new haircut brought him luck...!"
United are currently fourth in the Premier League table.
