Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has revealed that the birth of his second child Klay took place in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Wife Coleen was rushed into labour on Saturday night, which resulted in the England international missing his side's final match of the season the following day.
However, Rooney took to Twitter during the night to announce the arrival of his second child.
"Our Beautiful Son Klay Anthony Rooney was born at 2.11am, Weighing 7Ib 11.1/2 oz. Both Klay and Coleen are fine..... We're all delighted!!" Rooney Tweeted.
Rooney's ambition for boxing is thought to have played a part in the naming of his new child with it possibly being inspired by Cassius Clay.
