Marseille midfielder Joey Barton has launched a verbal attack on Brazil international Neymar by describing him as the "Justin Bieber of football".
The 30-year-old, who is on loan at the Ligue 1 club from Queens Park Rangers for the season, previously labelled Canadian popstar Bieber as a "smack addiction waiting to happen".
The former Newcastle United midfielder has since turned his attentions to Neymar, who he watched in action during a friendly between Brazil and Russia at Stamford Bridge.
Barton tweeted: "Neymar is the Justin Bieber of football. Brilliant on the old You Tube. Cat p*ss in reality..."
Meanwhile, Barton has previously expressed that he is open to remaining in France beyond the summer.
