Former heavyweight world champion Muhammad Ali has been discharged from hospital after receiving follow-up treatment for a urinary tract infection.
The 72-year-old had a two-week stay in hospital over Christmas, but was released earlier this month before being readmitted.
The American's family spokesman confirmed that he has now left the hospital and is returning to one of his homes in order to celebrate his birthday tomorrow.
Ali, who won gold at the 1960 Olympics, retired from boxing in 1981.
