Ched Evans has won his appeal against a rape conviction but must now face a re-trial.
The former Wales and Sheffield United striker was jailed for five years in 2012 for raping a 19-year-old woman.
Evans, 27, was released from prison in 2014 after serving half of his term and he has been trying to throw out the conviction since.
It was confirmed this morning at the Court of Appeal that Evans had been successful, but a fresh trial has been ordered.
A court statement said that Evans has been granted unconditional bail.
