Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone will pay £80m to settle his bribery trial after agreeing a deal with German prosecutors.
The 83-year-old had gone on trial in Munich in April over allegations that he had bribed a former German banker in the sale of a stake in the sport eight years ago.
Ecclestone has offered to pay €100m (£80m) to end the case, and the state prosecutors have told the court that they agree to accept this offer.
The Formula 1 season will resume on August 24 with the Belgian Grand Prix.
