Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis has been chosen in a poll as the role medal of the decade.
The Sheffield-born athlete, who won gold in the heptathlon at London 2012, was named first-choice idol in a poll by Amway.
Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham was the only footballer that was picked as a role model for the 2000s after receiving 32% of the vote.
Ennis received 26% of the vote for the 2010s.
