Frank Lampard had a spell with the commentary team at a New York Yankees game following his move to the city.
The former Chelsea midfielder confirmed that he was joining newly-formed Major League Soccer franchise New York City FC earlier this month.
During his spell in the YES Network commentary booth, the 36-year-old said: "New York City is an amazing city, the MLS is a great league and it's improving all the time so for me it was just a win-win to come over here and get a different chance, a different league and I want to try and do well."
Lampard also reiterated his apology for a drinking incident shortly after the 9/11 terrorist attacks hit the city.
