Cristiano Ronaldo has joked that he has a "few" romantic prospects on the horizon, but revealed his difficulty in finding women uninterested in his fame.
The Portuguese, 30, has been on the market since January following his break-up from long-term girlfriend and Russian model Irina Shayk after five years together.
Nevertheless, the three-time Ballon d'Or winner revealed that he has a number of women vying for his affections, although he concedes that his high-profile image is both a gift and a curse on the dating scene.
Asked by chatshow host Jonathan Ross if there was that "someone special" in his life, the Real Madrid star said: "A few. I have to figure it out. Some know [they are competing]. I am normal.
"To speak seriously, it is not easy. I know 50% [of the women] approach just for [celebrity] interest... It's normal, not just me. All the famous people have these kind of problems.
"But I think I am a confident guy. I'm tall, have all my teeth, have a nice body."
Ronaldo admitted earlier on Friday that he was pessimistic over his chances of pipping Barcelona's Lionel Messi to the Ballon d'Or for 2015.
