Former Brazil striker Ronaldo is reportedly planning a bid to buy the Playboy magazine franchise in his native country.
Ronaldo finished his playing career in 2011 and launched the successful consultancy firm 9INE, which manages the image rights of Barcelona forward Neymar among other top Brazilian sportsmen.
The 35-year-old also owns a string of properties and gyms in his homeland and, according to the Daily Mail, he now wants Playboy as part of his business portfolio.
Playboy sells around 250,000 copies a month in Brazil, ranking as the 10th highest selling magazine in South America's biggest country.
Ronaldo reportedly believes that he can restore the magazine's sales to a mark of one million enjoyed during the 1990s, with a formal offer to be registered this week.
