Olympic gold medallist Greg Rutherford will team up with businessman Duncan Bannatyne on a New Year special of ITV gameshow Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.

Olympic long-jump champion Greg Rutherford will compete in ITV gameshow Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?'s New Year special.

The 26-year-old, who won gold for Great Britain at London 2012, will be joined alongside Dragons' Den star Duncan Bannatyne as he tries to win money for SportsAid.

"I'm both excited and nervous and really looking forward to doing the show," said Rutherford. "I've seen it for years and years, but obviously taking part in the studio will be very different to watching at home!

"I'm determined to raise a lot of money for Sport England and since Duncan's a very clever businessman, I think between us we'll hopefully do well."

The show will air on January 8.
