Greg Rutherford: 'My lifestyle is manic following Olympics'

Rutherford: 'Life's completely changed'

Olympic long-jump champion Greg Rutherford has admitted that his life has been "manic" following his success at London 2012.

The 26-year-old shot into the limelight after clinching gold along with Team GB stars Jessica Ennis and Mo Farah within less than an hour at the Olympic Stadium.

"My life has completely changed and ultimately I'm enjoying what I'm doing," Rutherford told The Mirror.

"Before the Games, I'd do the odd appearance here and there, maybe once a month. Now it's got to the point where it's been five or six a day. It's been absolutely manic."

Rutherford also revealed that his new hectic lifestyle contributed to the downfall of his relationship with girlfriend Liz Rose.
