Queens Park Rangers midfielder Samba Diakite has hit out at reports that he is suffering with depression revealed that he has been granted permission to spend three days in Paris.
It was reported this morning that Diakite had been granted an initial 10-day leave to receive treatment but Diakite has denied that he is depressed.
Diakite told RMC Sport: "I'm fine, I have no problem, I was a bit tired recently, but my club has allowed me to spend three days in Paris.
"But I am not depressed. My club is my employer. I give my best to them every day.
"These reports sadden me because I have received calls of concern from my family. I wanted to reassure my friends and fans of QPR that all is well."
Diakite signed for Queens Park Rangers from Nancy during the summer.
