Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is reportedly charged with reckless driving for speeding 62mph above the limit.

Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has reportedly been caught speeding 62mph above the limit in Spain.

The France international, who was fined back in June 2011 for speeding through the city centre in Ibiza, is thought to have been charged with reckless driving.

The 25-year-old, who was clocked racing at 134mph in Madrid on February 3, could lose his driving licence and be hit with another fine, according to the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, Benzema and his teammates are due to travel to Old Trafford next week for their Champions League tie against Manchester United, which sits at 1-1.
