Tottenham Hotspur close to Wembley, MK Dons deal

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to a deal that will see them call Wembley and Stadium:mk home in the 2017-18 season.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly close to a deal that will see them play Premier League games at Wembley and cup games at MK Dons in the 2017-18 season.

The London side need a temporary home for at least a season while their new stadium is built adjacent to White Hart Lane, and according to the Daily Mail, they are in the final stages of an agreement that would see them have two home stadiums next year.

The 19 home games of the Premier League season would be played at Wembley in a groundshare arrangement with Chelsea, who are expected to move to the national stadium for three years beginning in 2017.

Meanwhile, Stadium:mk will be used for Spurs' home ties in the FA Cup and League Cup, as well as for European football if Spurs qualify for the Champions League or Europa League.
