Andy Carroll shares horrific post-op scars

West Ham's Andy Carroll shows off the graphic nature of his recent surgery by posting a grisly post-op snap of his knee.

West Ham United striker Andy Carroll has shared the severity of his injury woes after uploading a grisly post-op picture of his knee on Instagram.

The England international went under the knife after damaging medial ligaments in the 0-0 draw with Southampton last week, which is expected to sideline him for the rest of the season.

However, the 26-year-old was not reluctant to share the graphic nature of the surgery. He wrote: "That's knee modelling out the window!! Great job by Mr Andy Williams [the surgeon]".
