All assault charges against West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison have been dropped at Manchester Crown Court.
The 21-year-old was accused of threatening and attacking his ex-girlfriend Rhea Mansoor, then 19, and her mother Parveen Mansoor, then 39, back in July.
The former Manchester United player was charged with actual bodily harm and assault by beating against his ex-girlfriend, as well as assault by beating against her mother.
The controversial midfielder is also alleged to have threatened to throw acid in his former girlfriend's face and blow up her home following the end of their four-year relationship.
Morrison was due to stand trial on January 26, but the charges have been dropped because CCTV contradicted the account, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The midfielder has been linked to Lazio and Aston Villa in this transfer window.
