Moulin de la Croix has been handed a walkover win at Worcester after the remainder of the field withdrew from the race due to a dispute over prize money.
Trainers pulled their horses out of the race because the prize money fell below an agreed tariff by £900, leaving Sam Twiston-Davies's horse to pick up the £3,000 prize.
Charlie Mann, one of the trainers involved in the boycott, said that he expected further disputes and stated his anger at the tariff for the race.
Mann told At The Races: "The tariffs have been set and it is unacceptable that we are racing for the prize that we are.
"They have to understand that without the owners and trainers, they can't perform."
Ten of the trainers who withdrew their horses were fined £140.
