Wigan Warriors 42-30 London Broncos

Wigan come from behind to beat London Broncos 42-30 in Super League action at the DW Stadium.

Wigan Warriors survived a scare against London Broncos as they came from behind to win 42-30 at the DW Stadium.

Michael Witt crossed in the fourth minute to give the Broncos a fourth minute lead, but his try was cancelled out by Wigan's Brett Finch, who touched down just six minutes later.

Further tries from Michael Robertson and Daniel Sarginson saw London move into a surprise 18-6 advantage, but the Warriors fought back with three quickfire scores at the back end of the first half.

In the space of six minutes, Gareth Hock, Darrell Goulding and George Carmont all touched down to reverse the scores and send Wigan ahead going into the break.

The two teams then exchanged tries in the opening minutes of the second period, courtesy of Pat Richards for the hosts and Chris Melling for London.

Richards performed well with the boot, successfully kicking all of Wigan's tries, including additional efforts from Finch and Sam Tomkins.

Those scores put the Warriors into a comfortable lead and while Witt crossed again for London, the two-time Super League champions ran out victors.
