Gloucester have reached the quarter-finals of the Amlin Challenge Cup with a narrow 31-26 victory over Bordeaux Begles in France.
Freddie Burns kicked over 26 of his side's points as they maintained their perfect record in Pool 1.
Lachie Munro and Burns exchanged early penalties before a second Munro kick edged Bordeaux in front.
The home side then extended their lead in the 16th minute when Rafael Carballo's try was converted by Munro.
Three Burns penalties and a score from Darren Dawidiuk, converted by Burns, then gave Gloucester a 19-13 advantage.
However, Bordeaux managed to go in ahead at the break when Munro added the extras after Tamato Leupolo had touched down on the stroke of half time.
Burns cut the deficit in the 54th minute with his fifth penalty of the contest, but Munro kicked over again soon after.
Another kick from Burns on the hour reduced Bordeaux's lead to just a single point and the fly-half clinched the win with two more penalties in the final four minutes.
