Sir Clive Woodward has ruled himself out of the running to return as England coach.
The news comes after Martin Johnson's resignation from the post on Wednesday.
However, Woodward, who led England to World Cup glory in 2003, does not want to return to the job he left in 2004.
"I've been there, done that, had a fantastic seven or eight years and loved it," he told Sky Sports News. "So that is not what I want to be going back to."
Former South Africa and Italy coach Nick Mallett has also said that he is not interested in the role.
