Ben Jacobs pens Wasps contract extension

Wasps centre Ben Jacobs pens a contract extension with the Aviva Premiership club.

Wasps have confirmed that centre Ben Jacobs has signed a contract extension at the Ricoh Arena.

The 32-year-old Australian returned to the club in 2013 following a previous spell from 2009 to 2011.

However, a shoulder injury means that he will not feature again this season.

"We are really pleased to keep Ben at the club," director of rugby Dai Young told Wasps' official website. "He has been a valuable member of this squad since he returned from Australia and this season in particular he has shown that he has a lot to add to this group both on and off the field."

Wasps are back in action on Friday when they travel to Northampton Saints in the Aviva Premiership.
