World number one Judd Trump has admitted that he is disappointed to exit the UK Championship in the first round after he was stunned 6-5 by Mark Joyce.
The defending champion got himself into a 5-2 lead at the Barbican in York before world number 50 Joyce staged a remarkable comeback.
"Nothing seemed to go right. I didn't play well - it's disappointing," said Trump.
"I'd done well to go 5-2 in front but I didn't really have any clear-cut chances after that and my long-potting was just awful. You can't win them all."
Joyce had previously beaten Trump at the tournament in 2010 on his way to the quarter-finals.
