Neil Robertson has progressed to the final of the UK Championship for the first time with victory over Stuart Bingham in the last four.
The world number one surged into a 5-3 lead at the Barbican Centre in York, but had to overcome a late fightback from the 37-year-old to clinch their semi-final clash.
Bingham won five successive frames to enhance his chances of a win, but Robertson emerged victorious in the decider and qualified for the final with a score of 9-8.
Robertson will take on either Mark Selby or Ricky Walden in the final.
