Australia's Taylor McKeown claims gold in 200m breaststroke

Taylor McKeown wins the gold medal for Australia in the women's 200m breaststroke, while teammate Sally Hunter claims silver and England's Molly Renshaw wins bronze.

Australia's Taylor McKeown has clinched the gold medal in the women's 200m breaststroke at the Commonwealth Games.

The 19-year-old won the title in a time of 2:22.36 seconds to secure her first medal in Glasgow.

McKeown beat teammate Sally Hunter by a second, forcing the 29-year-old to settle for silver, while Team England's Molly Renshaw won bronze with a time of 2:25.00.

Scotland's Hannah Miley finished in fourth place as she was unable to back up her previous success at the Games in the 400m individual medley.
