Anthony Stephens misses out on a medal in the S5 100m freestyle after finishing fifth.

Great Britain's Anthony Stephens has missed out on a medal in the S5 100m freestyle after finishing fifth.

Brazil's Daniel Dias took yet another gold medal and he destroyed the field with a time of 1:09.35, some five seconds ahead of the pack.

Roy Perkins of United States took silver with his 1:14.78 and bronze went to Spain's Sebastian Rodriguez, who touched in 1:15.70.

Stephens, who is a double amputee, finished fifth with 1:17.23.
