Jessica Long of the United States has taken the gold medal in the women's S8 100m butterfly with a new Paralympic record.
Long was just ahead of eventual silver medal winner Kateryna Istomina of Russia at the turn but powered home in the final 50m to finish with a time of 1:10.32.
Istomina's time was 1:11.53 while Jiang Shengnan of China took bronze, but her 1:13.28 was some way off the winners.
Maddison Elliott of Australia, who finished sixth, set a new Oceania record with her time of 1:15.06.
