Belarus wrestler Vasilisa Marzaliuk is revelling in her "special victory" at the European Games after winning the gold medal in the women's freestyle 75kg.
Marzaliuk defeated Ekaterina Bukina of the Russian Federation 3-1 in the final, which she believes was down to her concentration on the mat.
She told reporters: "I am very happy. This is my first gold at such a high level. This is a special victory for me. I was confident.
"We have a very small wrestling team in Belarus. We don't have a lot of girls involved in wrestling but that doesn't make us weak.
"I was focused on victory. I went on the mat to have fun, to show a beautiful fight, as I love and enjoy what I do."
Marzaliuk's victory was Belarus's fifth gold medal of the Games.
