Sunday's La Liga predictions including Villarreal vs. Barcelona

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Sunday's La Liga fixtures, including Villarreal vs. Barcelona.

Huesca vs. Getafe (Sunday, 1.00pm)

Huesca will look to break out of the La Liga relegation zone on Sunday, when they welcome Getafe to the Estadio El Alcoraz.

The hosts have fallen back into the bottom three after back-to-back defeats, while Getafe now sit just four points ahead, remaining in danger of falling into the drop zone.

We say: Huesca 2-1 Getafe

In a game between two sides battling to turn poor runs of form around and boost their survival hopes, we see the hosts coming away with a narrow victory.

Getafe have looked devoid of confidence and quality in the last few weeks, and the recent 5-2 thrashing will not help the camp, while Huesca have already shown the resilience to break out of the bottom three once, and will fancy themselves to do it again.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

Villarreal vs. Barcelona (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Arguably the standout fixture in the latest set of La Liga matches will take place at Estadio de la Ceramica on Sunday afternoon as Villarreal welcome Barcelona.

Barca are currently third in the table, five points behind leaders Atletico Madrid with a game in hand, while Villarreal occupy seventh position, one point behind fifth-placed Real Sociedad.

We say: Villarreal 1-2 Barcelona

Villarreal will be desperate to return to winning ways in the league, but they will have one eye on their Europa League semi-final first leg with Arsenal. Barca will feel that they are very much in the title race at this stage, and we fancy Koeman's side to collect another three points courtesy of a 2-1 success.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Celta Vigo vs. Osasuna (Sunday, 5.30pm)

On the search for a fourth consecutive La Liga win, Osasuna travel to take on Celta Vigo on Sunday.

A strong run has seen the visitors move up to ninth spot in the La Liga table, just two points behind eighth-placed Granada, while their hosts will hope to put an end to a three-game winless run in the Spanish top flight.

We say: Celta Vigo 1-2 Osasuna

The visitors have definitely built some confidence with a three-game winning run, and we see them extending that on Sunday with a victory over a struggling Celta Vigo outfit.

The collection of attacking talent should fire them to another impressive win, even if Aspas keeps his side in the game with a goal.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or draw.

Sevilla vs. Granada (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Sevilla will be looking to keep themselves in the race for the La Liga title when they continue their domestic campaign at home to Granada on Sunday evening.

Julen Lopetegui's side are currently fourth in the table, six points off leaders Atletico Madrid, while Granada occupy eighth position, seven points behind seventh-placed Villarreal.

We say: Sevilla 1-0 Granada

Granada won 1-0 in the reverse match earlier this season, but it is very difficult to back anything other than a home win here. Sevilla will believe that they are in a title race at this stage of the campaign, and we fancy Lopetegui's side to collect another three points this weekend courtesy of a one-goal success.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Athletic Bilbao vs. Atletico (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Atletico Madrid will be looking to stay in charge of the La Liga title race when they travel to San Mames on Sunday evening to take on an inconsistent Athletic Bilbao.

Diego Simeone's side are currently top of the table, three points clear of second-placed Real Madrid, while Athletic, who are without a win in their last six league fixtures, occupy 10th position.

We say: Athletic Bilbao 0-1 Atletico Madrid

This is a very, very difficult game for Atletico, even taking into account Athletic's recent results. Simeone's side could potentially be boosted by the returns of Suarez and Felix, though, and we fancy the league leaders to just have enough to edge out a narrow victory at San Mames.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a draw or an away win.
