Antoine Griezmann hints at Philippe Coutinho exit from Barcelona

Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann hints that Philippe Coutinho could be set to leave the club this summer by admitting that he wants the Brazilian's number seven shirt.

Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann has hinted that Philippe Coutinho could be on his way out of the club after revealing his desire to take the number seven shirt.

Coutinho, who currently occupies the number, has spent the 2019-20 season on loan at Bayern Munich, but the German champions are not expected to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to the Premier League, and Griezmann, who currently wears the number 17 at Camp Nou, admitted that he has his sights set on Coutinho's number.

"I would like to get the number seven shirt again," the World Cup winner said during a live Twitch stream.

The Barcelona number seven has previously been worn by the likes of Pep Guardiola, Luis Figo and David Villa.

Griezmann, meanwhile, wore the shirt number with distinction during his time with Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid.
