Laurent Blanc: 'Ezequiel Lavezzi discussing Paris Saint-Germain exit'

Laurent Blanc reveals that Ezequiel Lavezzi is close to leaving Paris Saint-Germain, with China reportedly the Argentine's most likely destination.

Paris Saint-Germain head coach Laurent Blanc has confirmed that Ezequiel Lavezzi is on the verge of leaving the club.

The Argentine attacker had been due to travel to Marseille with the rest of the PSG squad yesterday afternoon, but he pulled out at the final moment to discuss his next move.

"Honestly, the club could tell you a lot more than me," Blanc told reporters.

"He prepared to come here to Marseille and then at the last minute he stayed in Paris to negotiate his departure."

Widespread reports have claimed that the 30-year-old, who has recently been linked with Chelsea, is bound for the Chinese Super League.
