Mauricio Pochettino praises "amazing" Harry Kane

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino heaps praise upon Harry Kane after the striker reaches a personal milestone.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has lavished praise upon Harry Kane after the striker reached a personal milestone during today's 4-0 win at Huddersfield Town.

The England international scored a brace early on at the John Smith's Stadium to take his goal tally for club and country in September to 13 - the most prolific month of his career.

"Harry Kane is in an amazing moment," Pochettino told reporters afterwards. "He is scoring goals, his energy is fantastic... the way he works without the ball. I wish he keeps going at the same level and for the team to win games."

The victory over the Terriers moved Spurs up to third in the table and helped them to a club-record six consecutive away wins in the Premier League, leaving Pochettino full of pride for a 'dominant' performance.

"We deserved the victory, we were better," he added. "Until today Huddersfield only conceded three goals, and we scored four.

"We dominated the game and that is why I am so happy with everyone. We played Champions League in Cyprus, arrived back home late and then to show the energy and performance is fantastic for us."

Next up for Spurs after the international break is a home encounter with Bournemouth in a fortnight.
