Mike McCarthy: 'Aaron Rodgers is feeling better'

Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy insists that quarterback Aaron Rodgers's calf is better now than it was last week.

Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy has revealed that quarterback Aaron Rodgers is feeling better about his injury than he was last week.

Rodgers is struggling with a calf injury which visibly hindered his mobility during Sunday's win over the Dallas Cowboys.

"I think it feels a lot better this time this week than last week," McCarthy told reporters.

The Packers will be boosted by the injury report given that their star signal-caller didn't suffer any setbacks from the strain he suffered in week 17 of the regular season.

The MVP frontrunner is set to be tested by the Seattle Seahawks this weekend, but McCarthy is optimistic that he would be able to feature.
