Brett Favre wants Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame ceremony moved to Lambeau Field

Brett Favre says that he wants his Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame ceremony to take place at Lambeau Field.

Former quarterback Brett Favre has said that he would like his Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame induction ceremony to be held at the team's stadium, Lambeau Field.

The Packers conduct all of their Hall of Fame ceremonies in the 1,600 Lambeau Field Atrium, but Favre wants to give more people the chance to attend the event in their 80,000 capacity stadium, as the ceremony is already sold out.

He told ESPN: "I know it's been stressful for the Packers especially, but we've gotten a lot of emails as well [with] it being sold out. In my opinion, I'd like to see us do it in the stadium. I think everyone should have a chance to go."

The ceremony will take place on July 18.
