Adrian Peterson will play during the Minnesota Vikings' game against the Carolina Panthers later today, according to a report.
The running back's participation had been in doubt following the death of his two-year-old son earlier this week.
A source told ESPN: "There's no doubt he's going to play. It's not going to happen where Adrian Peterson is not going to suit up for that game."
Peterson, who was named MVP last season, has 421 rushing yards and five touchdowns so far this season.
