Brady Quinn has joined the Seattle Seahawks following a tryout with the team earlier this week.
The NFC West side needed to add a quarterback to provide backup for Russell Wilson after trading Matt Flynn to the Oakland Raiders last week.
The 28-year-old had been a free agent after coming to the end of his contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he played 10 games last season.
Quinn has also had spells with the Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos during his NFL career.
