Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has been fined $7,875 (£4,770) by the NFL for unsportsmanlike conduct and taunting in his side's NFC championship win over the San Francisco 49ers.
At the end of the game Sherman called out 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree, stating that he was "mediocre" after he tipped the ball away from him to seal the match-winning interception.
The 25-year-old was also seen making a choking gesture to quarterback Colin Kaepernick after the incident, which has resulted in the fine from the league office.
Sherman and his teammates are preparing to take on the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium on February 2.
