Seattle Seahawks guard JR Sweezy has admitted that he still gets surprised by the "special" play of Russell Wilson.
The 25-year-old has played with Wilson since his college days at the North Carolina State Wolfpacks, but has conceded that even he was overwhelmed by the ability of the quarterback to lead his side back from a 16-point deficit to beat the Green Bay Packers in the NFC championship game.
Sweezy told reporters: "I've known the guy for a long time and he continues to surprise me. He almost awes me in a way. I see him doing things on the field, and it's like, 'Wow, how did you do that?'
"He's the best. I think he's a very special player. Anytime he has the ball in his hands, he has the capability of making a big play."
Wilson will be looking to win his second Super Bowl when his side face off against the New England Patriots later today.
