Great Britain's Jessica Ennis finished fifth during the high jump discipline of the heptathlon this afternoon.
The 26-year-old headed into the second event on the back of setting a new British record in the 100m hurdles.
She couldn't replicate that feat in the high jump, but she still managed to clear a height of 1.86m.
Meanwhile, Ennis's fellow Brit, Katarina Johnson-Thompson, set a new personal best on her way to recording a height of 1.89m.
That was enough for the 19-year-old to claim second spot in the event overall.
Belarus's Austra Skujyte eventually emerged victorious with a height of 1.91m.
