Brooklyn Nets coach Lionel Hollins has revealed his delight at the progress being made by injured players Deron Williams and Brook Lopez.
Both players have undergone surgery to repair injuries in time for the start of the new season, and now look increasingly ready to return in time for off-season camps.
"Well, that's what the whole goal is," said Hollins, according to Newsday.
"You can't be where you want to be unless you're healthy, and you can't get in shape unless you're healthy. If you are injured all summer, there's no way you can work out.
"Deron is healthy, Brook is healthy and they are both able to work out."
The Nets had a promising season last campaign, having made it to the conference playoff semi-finals, where they were eliminated by the Miami Heat.
