Cleveland Cavaliers coach David Blatt has dismissed speculation that there is growing discord between him, his assistant coach and the players.
Blatt has come under intense scrutiny in recent weeks as the Cavs slipped to six straight defeats and had lost nine of their last 10 games before Thursday's win in Los Angeles.
"That's a lot of, I'm trying to find a nice word for it because I'm talking to the public, well, that's a lot of nonsense and I think it's kind of cheap, to be honest with you. I really do," he told reporters.
Blatt was referring to reports that assistant coach Tyronn Lue had been calling timeouts without his authority.
In addition, Blatt defended his work so far this season and he insisted that he went through a similar process with Maccabi Tel Aviv in Europe before coaching in the NBA.
