Draymond Green has announced that he will re-sign with the Golden State Warriors to extend his stay for another five years.
Golden State general manager Bob Myers confirmed in a statement that the deal will be concluded on July 9.
"Proud to say that I'll be a Warrior for at least the next five years," Green told Bleacher Report.
"To be in this position, signing back long term with the Warriors is amazing. It's an organization that I love, it's great being a part of, best fans in the NBA, first-class organization."
The 25-year-old had been a restricted free agent, which would have allowed him to sign an offer sheet from another team with the Warriors given seven days to match the offer.
