Los Angeles Lakers point guard Steve Nash has admitted to feeling frustrated by his ongoing battle with injuries in the early stages of the NBA season.
The 39-year-old's latest setback came on Sunday night, when he was restricted to just under 13 minutes in the loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves due to back pain.
"It's tough," Nash revealed to reporters. "I hesitate to even talk about it now because it's probably not a good time. I'm a little emotional. It's hard.
"I really want to play and I really want to play the way I am accustomed to playing.
"To be so limited is frustrating and also to not know where kind of a clean bill of health is [coming] is a little daunting, too."
Nash is expected to see a back specialist on Monday.
