Kobe Bryant has insisted that he is not trying to recruit Kevin Durant for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Oklahoma City Thunder forward, who is the reigning NBA MVP, is set to become become a free agent at the end of next season.
However, the shooting guard told reporters: "No, I think we know each other pretty well. I don't think it's a discussion that you have in terms of coming here. But I think it's more of an understanding how to play with each other.
"If the opportunity came up, then that's the time to have that discussion."
The Lakers face the Thunder later today.
