Miami Heat forward Amare Stoudemire has insisted that it is now time for the franchise to make a push towards securing the NBA championship next season.
Stoudemire recently joined the Heat on a one-year contract and is now looking to help Miami mount a challenge for glory when the 2015-16 campaign gets underway.
"I think with Miami, it's now time to make a push," said Stoudemire, according to The AP.
"We have a team that understands what's there for us this year. We'll go into training camp with that mentality and see what we can do."
The two parties already spent time together back in 2010, when the Heat explored the option of fully recruiting Stoudemire as a free agent.
