The Oklahoma City Thunder have confirmed that the surgery to repair Kevin Durant's injured foot was successful.
It was revealed on the weekend that the NBA's MVP had been struck down by a Jones fracture, which is a broken bone at the bottom of the small toe.
Initial reports suggested that Durant is likely to be out of action for around eight weeks, but the Thunder have stopped short of setting a date for his return and will re-evaluate his condition in six weeks.
Successful surgery, thanks for all the prayers and concerns! Headed back to okc. Move em
