China's Zou Shiming has defeated Cuban light featherweight Yosbany Veitia to reach the last eight of the Olympics.
The fighters looked evenly matched in the first round, which Zou just about shaded to take a 4-3 lead.
Zou continued to keep his nose in front by edging another close round by a point.
Veitia threw caution to the wind in the final round and caught the Chinese man with a straight right. He then followed up with another as he chased the bout.
The Cuban was in the ascendancy but was issued with a count when Zou landed a nice shot off the back foot.
The judges scored a close contest 14-11 in Zou's favour.
