Amir Khan believes that his successful clash with Carlos Molina was achieved largely by sticking to his gameplan.
The Bolton fighter stopped Molina at the end of Round 10 to inflict the first defeat on the Californian and Khan said that the result was down to a more "patient" approach.
"You can see the way I was fighting, I was more patient," Khan said after the fight.
"I never lost sight of my game-plan, I never got frustrated, I composed myself and stuck to it. I'm getting better as a fighter and getting more patient. I'm not picking wild combos [anymore], they are gone. My speed is still there."
Khan was largely untroubled by his opponent and later said that he was ready for a rematch with Danny Garcia, who beat Khan back in July.
"I'm now ready for Danny Garcia, he was lucky and I didn't recover. I'm ready anytime, anywhere, any place."
Khan's victory ended a run of two consecutive defeats.
