Promoter Frank Maloney has claimed that he will make Tyson Fury an offer of £650,000 to fight British heavyweight champion David Price next year.
Fury and Price were both victorious this weekend, leading to renewed calls for the pair to meet in a domestic clash next summer.
Price destroyed Matt Skelton in just two rounds on Friday night to retain his titles and unbeaten record while Fury outpointed American Kevin Johnson in Dublin.
Maloney believes that a fight between the unbeaten heavyweights would capture the public's imagination in the UK.
He told Box Nation: "We made Tyson Fury an offer last time that we got no response to.
"If Tyson really wants it, we're quite happy on Monday morning to lodge £650,000 in an escrow account, which is £150,000 more than we offered last time. If he wants it, just come to the table and let's make it for May/June time.
"We want it, the British public wants it and the world wants to see it. You don't get that sort of money for fighting Klitschko, let's be honest. You get half a million dollars and half your TV rights against them."
Price is expected to step up in class early next year with a fight against former world title challenger Tony Thompson.
